 Introduction

Dear reader,

The Greek New Testament has brought immeasurable advancements to Western civilization by enlarging the human capacity for love, service, and forgiveness. These principles are universal and essential laws of human existence.  The New Testament presents and interprets covenant relationship between God and humanity, centered on the Life and Teachings of Jesus. The New Testament explains how Jesus is the promised Messiah, the fulfillment of prophecies in the Old Testament, and the basis for a new relationship between God and people. The New Testament documents the origins and growth of early Christianity, including the teachings and experiences of Jesus’ apostles and other early Christian leaders, including struggles, growth, and the teachings of the apostles. The letters within the New Testament offer practical advice, theological insights, and encouragement. The New Testament serves as a testament to a living faith in God’s actions, offering moral, inspirational, and theological insights that inspire humanity to greatness.

The AHAV Bible demonstrates how Jesus’ teachings, in his original Galilean Jewish Aramaic language, reflect the wisdom of his Aidenic culture which promotes universal love and unity. The authors of the Greek New Testament predominantly thought and wrote in Koine Greek. However, it is widely understood that Jesus (Yeshua) spoke indigenous Galilean Jewish Aramaic. The AHAV Bible presents the teachings of Jesus through Hebraic spirituality. The AHAV Bible provides Galilean archaeological evidence from his home village of Nazareth, as well as Capernaum, Tiberias, Sepphoris, Beyt Shean, and other first century Galilean villages and cities to authenticate his language and culture. Extensive archaeological discoveries confirm the historical context of the Greek New Testament and shed light on how Jesus lived and taught. The AHAV Bible explores in-depth Hebrew prophecies and first century Hebraic Jewish spirituality in conjunction with the teachings of Jesus.

The AHAV Bible references a wide range of ancient Greek New Testament papyrus manuscripts, minuscules, and uncials. It features a blend of Ancient Hebrew, Biblical Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, and Latin words that are transliterated and translated into English. English readers now have direct access to compare the contextuality and nuance of these Biblical languages. The AHAV Bible uses simplified Hebrew without affixes, prefixes, suffixes, and infixes that modify the meaning of a word. Hebrew root words are used and amplified in English to make it easy for English readers with little or no previous knowledge of Hebrew or Aramaic.

The AHAV Bible offers in depth appendix entries and footnotes to analyze and compare theological perspectives between Hebrew Tanakh, Greek Old Testament, and Greek New Testament texts. Theological concepts originating in Greek philosophy, Roman sophism, and Jewish traditions are analyzed and contrasted based on language and cultural influences. The AHAV Bible does not censor sensitive, controversial, or inconvenient information. AHAV is an acronym for Aramaic Hebrew Amplified Version and Hebrew for “love” which is the focus of the AHAV Bible. The AHAV Bible reveals principles of spirituality and Hebrew definitions of love, humility, faith, confidence, reconciliation, wealth, etc., to unite and prosper our precious human family.

Our prayers and blessings are with you,
